Pardon my ignorance in protocol

I take it that we may join up at any part of this adventure. I am not certain of a three day commitment if any, but would like to take part if possible in at least some of this if I can.

Thank You Eric and Janica

This is exactly the kind of forum I wanted to see on the KCKA forum. I agree that not all individuals will get on line, but I believe that there are a lot more that can and don't that may help link the others who aren’t. You also make an excellent point that only helps to reinforce the point why I d...

Great post TJ

This is a very good post. I wonder if it would even be worth putting in the news letter. I have one of my own going in the next. I think this one would also be there. As for leading, I have done my share in other organizations unrelated. However, starting out I would rather be the number two person ...

Nearly excellent float on the Kaw today

Kudos to Don for putting together a great day to float from Rising Sun to Lawrence. The weather was mild, wind was with us for most of the trip and the water was about as placid as you could get. Which brings us to the part which could have been improved. The flow was a little lacking, otherwise we ...

OK, I don’t believe there is any danger now of having to hike the river bed on foot from Lecompton to Lawrence. I guess the real question now is how many of those round wooden alligators we are going to encounter. When I hoped for rain I really did not mean to be taken this seriously. You're r...

Thank You for weighing in on this topic

Thank You Marty for the input. I have sent an article to Steve. I promise this article has nothing to do with an outdated trip. I do believe that the newsletter is a vital part of this and other organizations, but it should only be one a part of the information system. A tool in addition to many oth...

See you are doing good

Just keep going with your spirit and your experience. Know that there will most likely always be people better but always know you are the best you can be at any given time and getting better. Hang in there.
Best wishes

Don't fret

My experience are the bigger they are that their bark is often worse than their bite when it comes to wake. I love the bigger boats because a lot of time their rolling wave is a lot easier to handle than the splashy small show off on the jet ski. However either one are nothing to fear. In fact one o...

Call me a skeptic

I know that the local Bobcats can get quite large. If you get close enough to get a picture of so called mountain lion, I would certainly be glad to look it over. I must really be from the show me state.

But wait, before you order...

I have to say that I am not one that updates our web site much. I just wonder how many people actually bother to click on the www links on the message board. Is it worth the time to update? :?:

You are in the right place

As for calm most of the lakes are good during monday through thursday if you are into that kind of deal. As a flat water paddler myself I have to say that the Kansas river is kind of calm an most of the other creeks are almost not flowing. What kind of water are you talking about and within what area?
